TANGLEFOOTERS HALL OF
FAME MEMBERS NAMED
FOR 2006
The
Tanglefooters Holiday Dinner was held
on December 11, 2006. This annual event brings together current
club
members, past club members, and current students for an evening of
food,
fellowship, and dancing. In addition to the usual events this
year, two
couples were added to the Tanglefooters Hall of Fame, instituted at the
Holiday
Dinner in 2005. This year's new Hall of Fame members are Warren
&
Loma Oxendine and Paul & Trula Shipman. Both have been
dancing with
the club for nearly 30 years, although the Oxendines have had to cut
back on
their dancing because of Warren's health. They join last year's
charter
members: Harold & Jean Hailey, Rusty & Jean Kunkler,
Willard
& Betty Hill, and Cecil & Diane Epperson. For the

In
order to be eligible for membership in
the Tanglefooters Hall of Fame, a couple needs to have been
members of
the club and continuously dancing for at least 20 years. Serving
in
various officer functions is important, too.
Congratulations
to all six couples, who
were instrumental in the founding and continuation of the club since
its
inception in 1975.
